NAC Architecture is seeking certified and qualified CBE, DVBE, DBE, WBE, MBE, SBE, and LGBTBE subs to provide various services (Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Plumbing Engineer, Cost Estimator, Landscape Architect, Acoustics Consultant, Technology Consultant, Historic Consultant, and Move Management Consultant ) for the County of LA DPW REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS DESIGN AND RELATED SERVICES FOR VARIOUS SEISMIC RETROFIT PROJECTS RFP NUMBER: BRC0000319. 

There are a total of 29 County facilities that are anticipated for seismic retrofit over the next several years. The preliminary construction budget for all projects in total is $250 to $350 million, which is to be validated during the pre-construction phase. The term of the Consultant Services Agreement (Agreement) will be for three years. 

The seismic retrofit design will vary from facility to facility, and the assumption for all projects is that construction will likely be phased, and all buildings will remain occupied during construction. Areas of intense work may require some tenants to be relocated to other parts of the building or to an alternate building location.  The assumption is that all retrofitted facilities will meet the Basic Performance Objective for Existing Buildings (BPOE).
