Project Description:
a) Full replacement of the Northbound Bridge (MT1) built in 1935 on wooden piles from a 187-foot in length to new 265-foot bridge with center steel deck plate girder span of 110 foot over the river;
b) Partial replacement of Southbound Bridge (MT2) which was built in 1990 by replacing the south abutment and extending it from an existing of 195 feet bridge to approximately 250 feet;
c) Installation of new conduits & pull boxes to accommodate fiber optic cable relocations by carriers;
d) Remove & replacement of OCS pole & wires on MT2 bridge as required to accommodate construction;
e) Environmental mitigation, channel grading & planting.
All subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance, and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Stacy and Witbeck’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the estimator. In addition, subcontractors are required to register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), as required by Public Contract Code Section 1725.5, please furnish DIR number with your quote submittal.
