NOTICE TO DISADVANTAGED BUSINESSES

Core & Main LP, of 6525 N US Highway 301 Tampa, FL 33610, Ph: (813)623-3343, is seeking Disadvantaged Businesses (MBE WBE) for the Citrus County, Florida RFP# 22-065, for subcontracting opportunities in the following areas: Advanced Metering Infrastructure Water “AMI” System.  All disadvantaged businesses should contact Stephen Hemingway, by email, at Stephen.Hemingway@coreandmain.com, to discuss the subcontracting opportunities.  Disadvantaged businesses interested in submitting proposals must meet the following criteria:

1) Must be a Licensed Plumber or Licensed Underground Utility contractor in the State of Florida

2) Must be experienced in installation of 2,000+ Sensus AMI meter project installations

3) Must have own Sensus AMI meter programming equipment

4) Must be able to secure a performance and payment bond

5) Employees must pass police background checks and be bonded/bondable

6) Must accept responsibility for contacting all residents and building owners to schedule installation appointments

7) Must warranty workmanship of installations for a period of one year after installation.

All respondents will be evaluated on their ability to meet all of the foregoing criteria.  The procurement will be subject to all applicable federal, state and local regulations.  All negotiations must be completed prior to bid opening on July 8, 2022.
