ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE:     $2,300,000

ELECTRONIC BIDS for Rancho Water Improvements will be received through PlanetBids at https://pbsystem.planetbids.com/portal/39498/bo/bo-detail/94491 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Bids received after this time will NOT be accepted.

The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Contract, Plans, Specifications, and forms for the Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall be obtained from PlanetBids. Bidders are advised that Contract Documents refer to Rancho Water's Standard Specifications and Standard Drawings, which are available on Rancho Water’s website at www.ranchowater.com, under the Engineering Department, Document Library.

In addition to District funds, the Project will be funded in part by a public assistance grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) administered by the California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES). Bids must comply with all requirements associated with these funding sources, as described in the Contract Documents.

A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the District’s Headquarters located at 42135 Winchester Road, Temecula, California   92590 on the following date and time:  Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Each and every Bidder SHOULD attend the Pre-Bid Conference. Prospective bidders MAY visit the Project Sites without making arrangements through the Construction Contracts Department. Note:  Bids will be accepted from all bidders, regardless of whether or not they attended the NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference. Bidders are encouraged to submit questions through PlanetBids. The deadline to submit questions is 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the amount and form, and subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
