ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE:         $1,900,000

ELECTRONIC BIDS for Rancho Water Improvements will be received through PlanetBids at https://pbsystem.planetbids.com/portal/39498/bo/bo-detail/111631 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Bids received after this time will NOT be accepted.

The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Contract, Plans, Specifications, and forms for the Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall be obtained from PlanetBids. Bidders are advised that Contract Documents refer to Rancho Water's Standard Specifications and Standard Drawings, which are available on Rancho Water’s website at www.ranchowater.com, under the Engineering Department, Document Library.

In addition to District funds, the Project will be funded in part by a public assistance grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) administered by the California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES). Bids must comply with all requirements associated with these funding sources, as described in the Contract Documents.

A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will convene at the District’s Headquarters located at 42135 Winchester Road, Temecula, California,  92590 on the following date and time:  Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. local time. Each and every Bidder SHOULD attend the Pre-Bid Conference. Prospective bidders MAY NOT visit the Project Sites without making arrangements through the Construction Contracts Department. Note:  Bids will be accepted from all bidders, regardless of whether or not they attended the NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference. Bidders are encouraged to submit questions through PlanetBids. The deadline to submit questions is 4:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the amount and form, and subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
