PROJECT DETAILS:
The Project consists of:
Site Work:
A. Paving repair and path of travel upgrades at Students parking lot and adjacent quad
Building Work:
B. Restrooms accessibility compliance safety upgrades for students and staff at building A, B, H and W
C. Required mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire - alarm infrastructure upgrades (at upgraded restrooms) and removal, disconnecting, re-reconnecting sprinkler piping systems as required due to (n) HVAC ductwork at soffit located at the end corridors of building A, B, C, & D. No alteration or changes to (e) sprinkler system design
D. Replacement of non-compliant drinking fountains at path of travel
E. Replacement of various damaged doors and frames
Security and intrusion control upgrades:
F. Campus-wide installation of a networked - wireless locking security system
G. Replacement of non-state compliant hardware with "columbine" locking hardware
H. Installation of a 8' high protective ornamental fence and gates adjacent to Building A and Library inclusive of approved hardware
I. Installation of double swing barrier vehicular gate in front of Building A
The District has prequalified bidders pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 20111.6. Only prequalified bidders will be eligible to submit a bid for this Project. Any bid submitted by a bidder who is not prequalified shall be deemed nonresponsive and will not be considered. Additionally, it falls within the General Contractor’s responsibility to source qualified subcontractors who are both registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and fulfill the technical qualification and certification prerequisites outlined in the project specifications.
