Baldwin Contracting Company, Inc. dba Knife River Construction is bound by the Master Labor Agreement with the Laborers, Operating Engineers and Teamsters. If your company enters into a subcontract with Baldwin, portions of those Labor Agreements may be applicable to your scope of work.

Assistance is available to DBE’s for obtaining bonding, lines of credit or insurance and any technical assistance related to the Plans and Specifications. In addition, assistance is available to obtain necessary equipment, supplies, materials or services. For your convenience, a set of Plans is available for review at our office.

Knife River Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers and Teamsters. 100% payment and performance bonds may be required for full amount of subcontractor price. All subcontractors must be licensed and have liability insurance and workers compensation insurance meeting Knife River Construction's requirements. Knife River Construction is willing to assist with obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment and materials and is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages to encourage participation. Plans and Specifications are made available for viewing on the Caltrans website and Knife Rivers office.
