Scope of Services
The conversion of a vacant space in Building 24 into an all-gender locker room, expansion and renovation of the adjacent single-user bathing rooms, and path of travel upgrades required by 11b-202.4
Other Details
• Primary scope: Installing a total of fifteen (15) accessible lockers and accessible benches in the locker room plus the expansion of the adjacent bathing rooms to include accessible benches and compliant fixtures and accessories, and repurposing them as all-gender
• Installing room identification signage at the locker room entry door; relocating non-structural wall of bathing rooms to provide enough space for the benches; reuse of existing doors and the installation of new hardware and identification signage
• Replacing, relocating, or removing restroom accessories
• Replacing broken shower seats
• Modifications to HVAC, lighting, sprinklers, and fire alarms in primary scope of work area to accommodate relocated wall
• Barrier removal in the path of travel to the locker room; grinding down a change in level; upgrades to adjacent multi-user restrooms, including replacing or relocating accessories and signage to bring the restrooms up to compliance with current code; relocation of adjacent drinking fountain and expansion of alcove to provide required clear floor space
