The work, in general, to be done under this contract consists of modernization of the north wing, installation of a new relocatable classroom
building from stockpile, adding a new freestanding covered walkway & a new freestanding shade structure along with associated path of
travel upgrades. North wing modernization scope includes removal of interior walls to create three science classrooms. Modernization
includes removal of ceilings, replacement of hvac system, adding new hvac equipment on the roof, new lighting, new welding equipment,
and new science equipment. Upgrades to structural systems for modernization work include new and upgraded framing. The fire alarm
system will be upgraded. A new fire sprinkler system will be added, including a new fire booster pump. Path of travel upgrades include new
walkways, new curb ramps, new ramps, new accessible parking area & exterior drinking fountain replacement. Relocatable classroom
building from stockpile will have new fire sprinkler system and a new fire alarm system.
*This project is estimated to start December 22, 2025 & be completed by July 31, 2026*

*All subcontractors must have a active DIR # in order to submit a bid on this project.
*Prevailing wage per DIR Locally.
*DVBE subcontractors are encouraged to submit a bid. DVBE participation goal of 3%.
*All subcontractors with the following licenses must be pre-qualified in order to bid this project: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36,
C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46.
