The Veterans Memorial Park Project is funded in part by Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Fund (Community Project Funding (CPF)/Congressionally Directed Spending) (B-23-CP-CA-0155) and State of California Department of Parks and Recreation Grant (C5055056) and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local compliance requirements

This is a HUD Section 3 covered project. In accordance with 24 CFR Part 75, preference will be given to:

Section 3 Business Concerns — businesses that are 51% or more owned by low- or very-low-income persons, or that employ at least 30% Section 3 workers; and • Section 3 Workers — low-income individuals residing in the local area.

  • Qualified Section 3 businesses and workers are strongly encouraged to submit bids.
