PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Structural Repair of existing HSS columns and Accessibility upgrades to replace existing sidewalks around building. Prepare and paint columns which are to be repaired to the full height of the column per painting specifications. Paint all other existing columns not needing repair to match repaired columns. Also modify existing parking lot for accessibility upgrades including resurfacing the entire parking lot, localized grading and asphalt work, restriping, new curb ramps, and a new drop-off loading zone.

THIS IS NOT A LEASE LEASE-BACK CONTRACT. APPRENTICEABLE JOURNEYMAN ARE NOT REQUIRED.


If this Project includes work that will be performed by mechanical, electrical or plumbing (“MEP”) subcontractors
(contractors that hold C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 or C-46 licenses), such MEP subcontractors must also be prequalified.

This project is considered public works under California Labor Code Section 1720. It requires payment of prevailing wages. Wage rates can be obtained from the CA Dept of Industrial Relations at
https://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/DPreWageDetermination.htm. All contractors bidding on this project must be registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.


In accordance with the provision of California Public Contract Code §3300, the District requires that Bidders possess the appropriate classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the Contract for the Work is awarded. Such License must be maintained and kept current during the duration of the project.


All work performed on this project which falls under the recognized jurisdiction of the Carpenter’s Master Agreement for Northern California shall be performed by Union Carpenters.


This project is Prevailing Wage. Seeking DVBE Subcontractor/Supplier Participation.


All subcontractors must be bondable.


Premiums will be paid by C.T. Brayton & Sons, Inc.
