PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project includes the modernization and rehabilitation of all existing campus buildings and site infrastructure. Work consists of upgrades to both interior and exterior building components, including finishes such as flooring, ceilings, and painting, as well as structural elements such as framing, drywall, and insulation. The project also includes improvements to building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, along with roofing upgrades, hazardous material remediation, and security enhancements.
In addition, the project includes comprehensive site improvements such as utility upgrades, fire alarm and communication systems, drainage, grading, paving, concrete work, and fencing. Landscape and irrigation improvements, site lighting, and the installation of new campus features such as shade structures and a marquee are also included to enhance overall functionality, safety, and long term performance of the campus.

CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION: This Project may use state bond funds. As a result, pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6, only prequalified bidders will be eligible to submit a bid for this Project. Any bid submitted by a bidder who is not prequalified shall be
non-responsive and returned unopened to the bidder. Moreover, any bid listing subcontractors holding C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 or C-46 licenses who have not been prequalified shall be deemed nonresponsive and will not be considered. All subcontractors, including DVBE subcontractors, shall be prepared to provide payment and performance bonds equal to 100% of their subcontract value. ProWest will pay bond premiums up to 1.5%. Please provide your bond rate with your proposal. ProWest reserves the right to require Financial Statements for evaluation and consideration when awarding work to any Subcontractor.
ProWest's listing of a subcontractor does not imply acceptance of any conditions, qualifications, or exceptions stated in the subcontractor's bid proposal. The subcontractor agrees that their bid will remain valid for the same duration as ProWest's bid must remain valid with the project owner plus a reasonable time for the issuance of a Notice of Intent to Award, Notice to Proceed, or Subcontract. Each listed subcontractor must sign ProWest's standard Subcontract Agreement if ProWest is awarded the project. If the project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement, Project Stabilization Agreement, Community Workforce Agreement, or Skilled and Trained Worker compliance, the subcontractor, by submitting a bid proposal, acknowledges the requirements of such agreements or programs and further agrees to adhere to all of the requirements therein as provided in all the bid documents, including the General Conditions and Supplemental Conditions.
