The project is funded, in part, through a U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation WaterSMART Planning and Project Design Grant. GEI is seeking qualified firms interested in providing services including, but not limited to: Hydrogeology, groundwater evaluation, aquifer analysis, municipal well design, pumping-test analysis, and certified hydrogeologist services; Well drilling, construction, development, testing, and abandonment oversight; Borehole geophysical logging, electric logging, caliper logging, video surveys, and related interpretation; Civil engineering, site design, grading, drainage, pipeline design, utility coordination, hydraulic analysis, and surge analysis; Architectural, structural, mechanical, acoustical, and sound-attenuation design; Electrical engineering, instrumentation and controls, SCADA, communications, motor control centers, and electric utility coordination; Topographic surveying, boundary and easement research, right-of-way mapping, utility mapping, and construction surveying; Geotechnical investigation, soil borings, seismic and foundation analysis, soil laboratory testing, and corrosion testing; Utility locating, potholing, vacuum excavation, and subsurface utility investigation; Water-quality sampling and laboratory testing; Environmental, regulatory, and permitting support, including SWRCB Division of Drinking Water coordination, Drinking Water Source Assessment and Protection documentation, NPDES and waste-discharge requirements, and local agency permitting; Construction management, construction inspection, bid-phase support, submittal and RFI review, change-order support, startup, commissioning, and record drawings; Build America, Buy America and American Iron and Steel compliance, domestic-product sourcing research, documentation, and waiver support; Cost estimating, scheduling, constructability review, QA/QC, and CADD production; and Community engagement, stakeholder coordination, public notifications, and notices to residents.
