The project is a design-build demolition project for the “Demo of Severable & EQ Damaged Facilities” at NAWS China Lake, CA, under planned Task Order N62473-21-D-1402 PTO.

Briefly, the work consists of demolishing earthquake-damaged facilities associated with MILCON earthquake recovery projects, including removal of listed buildings/structures, concrete curbs, sidewalks, landscaping, fencing, associated utilities, and below-grade structures. The contractor must also restore the sites by placing clean sifted topsoil, maintaining existing elevations, compacting soils, and using dust-control measures during demolition.

The scope also includes complete demolition/removal of the listed facilities, utility demolition, hazardous-component abatement, removal/demolition of remaining equipment and furnishings, and site preparation activities such as site clearing, demolition, salvage, relocation, earthwork, and hazardous waste remediation.

The facilities are grouped for environmental and cultural compliance, including groups requiring standard mitigation, biological monitoring, SHPO consultation, or both.

Assistance will be available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related technical assistance. We will make every effort to establish delivery schedules where the requirement permits.
