Project Scope: 

This project will support the design and construction for an approximately five (5) acre brine evaporation pond with double containment liner and leak detection system that complies with the regulatory requirements of the California State Water Resources Control Board and Navy/United States Marine Corps (USMC) codes/criteria. The work includes ground water monitoring wells, design and permitting prior to excavation; earthwork for pond embankments and stormwater diversion channel; installation of a non-porous liner with leak detection systems; gravel surfaced access roads, utility connections (brine process water, electrical power, and fiber optic) and all incidental related work.

Assistance will be available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related technical assistance.
