Building MM Construction Trades Two Project

Scope Sheets Due: November 14, 2022, by end of day.

Duration: 518 calendar days

Liquidated Damages: $2,500.00 per day

Estimated Value: $15,350,000.00

Scope Of Work-

Demolition of the existing Northeast and South wings of 1-story Building MM (A# 03-67421) and New construction of new 1-story northeast and south wings totaling 19,000 SF, type IIB, fully sprinklered, with workshops and classrooms for Architecture, Horticulture, and Anthropology programs, and Administrative Offices. Work includes, but is not limited to, demo/grading, building and site concrete, masonry veneer, structural steel, deck, casework, insulation, waterproofing, roofing, sheet metal, doors and frames, aluminum entrances, storefronts, curtain walls, and sectional doors, building finishes and specialty trades, MEP, low voltage including Simplex fire alarm, and site work.

There are no deferred approval items. Arcadia curtainwall plans are provided as part of the project documents.

This project is a PLA. Please see the letter of assent for reference. All subcontractors and 1st tier subcontractors will be required to sign this letter of assent and comply with all conditions of the PLA to perform work on the project. Please see Special Conditions Attachment J for more information.

This project is an OCIP project and will be managed by Keenan and Associates. All subcontractors, regardless of tier, must have an EMR of less than 1.25 to be enrolled in the program/perform work on the project. Please see Special Conditions Attachment G for more information. Note your current EMR on your bid.

ALL BIDS MUST INCLUDE License number, DIR registration number, and EMR to be considered. Include a contact name, email, and DIRECT phone number on bid.

P.H. Hagopian requires all subcontractors to be prepared to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds by an admitted surety in the amount of their bid.  Premium cost to be listed as a separate bid line item.  P.H. Hagopian, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to waive the requirement for such bond. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Under California law, all subcontractors and any sub-tier contractors, must be DIR registered contractors at the time of bid opening and at all times during the performance of the work. P.H. Hagopian is only soliciting sub-trade bids from those subcontractors and sub-tier trade contractors who are DIR registered contractors.
