Fremont High School Science Building Lease-Leaseback Project

Pursuant to California Education code 17406, Notice of Soliciting Proposals is hereby given that Beals Martin Inc. will be accepting subcontractor bids for the Fremont High School Science building.

Project Duration 6/8/2023-8/21/23. This project includes but not limited to: Selective architectural improvements, suspended ceilings, flooring, casework, interior and exterior painting, electrical, low voltage systems, fire alarm and restroom improvements.  Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing subcontractors must be prequalified with Fremont Union High School District. Prequalify with FUSHD through Quality Bidders. Information can be found on the district’s website under “Business Services”. Interested subcontractors must submit sealed bids on or before 2pm., Tuesday, February 21st. To Beals Martin Inc. 2596 Bay Road, Redwood City, CA 94063. Bids will be accepted via email: bids@bealsmartin.com but each subcontractor is responsible to ensure that their bid is received by Beals Martin Inc. prior to the above time and date. Questions regarding this bid must be received in writing by/before 12:00 noon, February 9th. Beals Martin Inc. will award the subcontracts, if it awards each at all, based on the best value criteria permitted under the education Code 17406 and authorized by the districts governing board.  Subcontractors will be required to comply with the districts union project stabilization agreement (PSA) and adhere to the skilled and trained workforce requirements as stated in Public Code 2601, 2602 in addition as Senate Bill 693.
