is seeking certified and qualified DVBE, SBE and VBE subcontractors and/or suppliers to provide  1. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1771.7, this project will be subject to the Owner approved Labor Compliance Program  and Contractor and Sub-Contractors of any tier shall  pay all work performed not less than Prevailing Wages Rates and subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement and shall register with Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) of the State of California, pursuant to Labor Code Section 1771.4. as set forth in Section 00 4500 of the Bid Document.   2. Bidder is subject to the Project Stabilization Agreement ( PSA ) as described in Section 00 73 49 of the Bid Document.  3.  Bidder is required to participate  in an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) as described in Section 00 73 16 and  Article 5. Insurance & Bonds of the General Condition.  4.  Any Bid listing MEP Sub-Contractors holding A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 and C-46 licenses, must be prequalified by the owner & submitted no later than February 13, 2023 and are placed on the Owner's List of Prequalified MEP Subcontractors on  March 17, 2023 (Add.#4)    5.  The District requires bidders to utilize only one Bid Preference provision for twenty-five (25%) for Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and three percent (3%)  Veteran Business Enterprises (VBE)  , and shall become LAUSD Certified prior to award as set forth in the Bid Document Section 00 73 39.   6.  Each Request for Clarification shall be submitted in writing Wednesday, February 15, 2023 and shall be directed to Maria Castrellon via to email to or to Icon West via email to by using  Pre-Bid Clarification form as described in Section 00 91 10.  7.  Substitution of Equivalent material, product or equipment are required to submit a written request within thirty-five (35) after Notice to Award.  8.  Working Hours : Where a single shift is worked, eight (8) consecutive hours between  07:00 AM-5:00 PM , Monday to Friday .

1. Wages rate for this project shall be in accordance with Section 1720 et seq., the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, the Prevailing rates of wages of holiday and over time work in the locality in which the work is to be performed. 2. During the work the Department of Industrial Relations shall monitor & enforced compliance with prevailing wage rate requirements and obligations. 3. No Sub-Contractor will be awarded a Contract for Public Works, unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) of the State of California, pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. 4. Community Benefit Agreement (CBA) , the agreement between the District and Building trades /signatory Unions is required on this project. 5. The District adopt a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) participation goal of the Bid proposal.   6. The District is committed to a sustainable design as defined by the US Green Building Council's as LEED Gold Certification. 7. All Pre-Bid inquires or Clarification for interpretation Request  about Bid Document shall be submitted electronically to : Q&A" Section at , the District's EBid System or to, no later than @ 2:00 PM, Friday, September 12, 2022 (SB.CCD'S Planet Bids) . 8.  A Request for Substitution for any specific article, device, equipment, product ,material, fixtures shall only be submitted with the bidder's bid of the contract, but shall be accompanied by a Substitution Request Form. as described on Section 01 25 00. 9. Any work performed necessary to be done within regular working hours, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday.
