PROJECT DETAILS:

This project is to Demolish and Abate (E) Building G & H in their entirety and a portion of Building F then Construct New Building G, Music and Theater Arts, 67,332 SQFT, 2-story, Type II-A, Group A-1, A-3, B & S-2. Fully Sprinkled. Scope of Works includes but not limited to Demolition, Earthworks, Concrete Pad & Slab-on-Grade Foundation, Structural Steel Framing, Concrete over Steel Deck Floor, Hollow Metal & Wood Doors, Bituminous Membrane & Concrete Tiles Roofing, Aluminum Windows Frames, Metal Stud Wall Framing & EIFS Finish, Acoustical Ceiling Finish, Plastic Laminated Plywood Cabinets, Exterior & Interior Signage, Theatrical & Rigging Equipment and Infrastructure e.g. Hydraulic Elevator, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler, Heating & Cooling Systems, Emergency & Stage Lighting Systems, Audio Visual, Fire Alarm and  Hardscaping & Landscaping in surrounding area.  

SPECIFIC PROJECT INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS :                                                                                      -  1. Prevailing Wage Project pursuant to California Labor Code Paragraph 1773 et seq. and Section 1771.4(a)(4) are subject to prevailing rate payment and currently registered to perform Public Works as determined by Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) of the State of California. 2.  All Subcontractors must complete and execute the Community and Student Workforce Project Agreement (CSWPA) letter of Assent as a condition to performing any works. 3. This project is subject to an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP), therefore will ONLY be accepted for Subcontractors with Experience Modification Ratio (EMR) of 1.25 or less over the last five (5) years.  4. The District has established a Good Faith Participation  Goal Policy for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) of three percent (3%) by submitting three (3) lowest priced responsive Bid Proposals to the District. 5. Pre-Bid inquiries or clarification requests shall be submitted no later than 10 AM Monday, April 10 2023 ( Add.#2) . 6. Substitution in products, materials, equipment and method of Construction shall be submitted no later than thirty-five (35) days following the date of the Owner's Award of Contract.
