Respondents must be properly licensed for the scope of work being responded to. All trade contractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at bid submittal date.

Skilled & Trained Workforce will be enforced with this project per AB566, AB3018, AB693 and SB418, as this is a Lease Leaseback project.

All subcontractors that hold a qualifying contractor’s license (A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46) per AB 1565 and AB 2316 must submit a prequalification application. Prequalification packets must be submitted no later than 10 business days prior to the bid date.

Bonding: Trade contractors will be required to provide 100% Payment and Performance Bonds by an admitted surety in the State of California at time of contract award. All trades must provide bond rate on bid.  Bonds may be up to the District’s discretion.
