Stevens Construction Inc is a signatory union contractor with the Southwest Carpenters Union. All qualifed bidders must be currently DIR registered with www.dir.ca.gov and have a valid contractors license. This is a public works project and requires the payment of prevailing wage per section 1770 of the California Labor Code. Prequalifiation with Southern Kern Unified School District is mandatory for all GC, plumbing, mechanical and electrical contractors (pqbids.com).
