MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • All Contractors and Subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at Bid Time.
  • Prevailing Wage Project.

SUBCONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION:

  • Subcontractors with C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46 licenses must be prequalified with the Sweetwater Unified School District. Refer to Instructions to Bidder in the link above for more info.

PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT:

  • A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) is applicable to this Project. Refer to the PLA at [LINK], including the Letter of Assent.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

  • Alteration of existing Library Building 120, including modifications to library, classrooms, storage rooms, and restrooms.
  • Alterations to site hardscape for accessible entries and walkways, updated landscaping, added parking, and replacement marquee sign.
  • No new square footage. Existing type V-A, non-sprinklered. E Occupancy. Total of 20,450 SF, 36’ Max building height.
