PROJECT DETAILS:
This project is to Renovate the Existing 8,227 SQFT, Michael Alexander Campus Center (MACC) and to Construct a New additional 10,845 SQFT, 1 Stories building , Type II-B , Group A-2, A-3 & B, Fully Sprinklered on North & West side of (E) MACC building for a new Dining and Food Service Space and is located at Rancho Cucamonga Campus, Chaffey College Community Center. The Scope of work includes, but not limited to new and expanded servery food options, a new cafe, 3 new dining rooms, exterior seating and gathering spaces around the building with new landscaping.
1. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1773, The District has obtained the prevailing rate of per diem wage & the prevailing wage rate for holidays & overtime work applicable in San Bernardino County from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed to execute the contract.. 2. During the work the Department of Industrial Relations shall monitor & enforced compliance with prevailing wage rate requirements and obligations. 3. No Sub-Contractor will be awarded a Contract for Public Works, unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) of the State of California, pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. 4. The District adopt a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) three percent (3%) participation goal of the Bid proposal. 5. In accordance with Education he District is committed to includes general requirements and procedures for compliance with 2019 CALGreen nonresidential mandatory requirements, as defined on Section 01 81 50. 6. Any work performed necessary to be done within regular Working Days as, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday to Friday. and Saturday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Any work outside the hours of operation listed above only with the Owner's written permission .
