PROJECT DETAILS:

The Work includes but is not limited to, design, site preparation, and construction of this new Fire Station. Fire Station 94 is a new two-story wood-framed building located in downtown Brentwood, CA, on 1st Street between Maple and Oak. The site area is 13,427 square feet. The new Fire Station 94 will consist of 7,412 square feet, with a footprint of 4,092 square feet, and will consist of 3 volumes. Centered is an apparatus bay, with dayroom functions on the second floor above. Slightly setback to the left are single-story support spaces with a patio above. Slightly setback to the right are the living quarters on the second floor, along with additional space below, including the public entry and exercise room. The station incorporates dorm rooms, offices, day room, dining room, kitchen & pantry, exercise room and support spaces.

PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT and PREVAILING WAGE ARE REQUIRED.

Level 10 is signatory to the Carpenters, Laborers, and Cement Masons.  Work covered by these labor classifications is to be Union.

Estimated Date of Notice to Proceed: Anticipated September 2024
Contract Duration: 770 calendar days from issuance of NTP to Substantial Completion
Closeout & Occupancy (Final Completion): 30 calendar days from Substantial Completion to Final Completion

This project is subject to the policies and requirements established in the County's Outreach Program for the use of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), Other Business Enterprises (OBEs), Small Business Enterprises (SBEs), Local Business Enterprises (LBEs), and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBEs).

This project is subject to Liquidated Damages, reference the project bid documents for further details.

Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract. No modifications to the contract are permitted. All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project must be able to furnish subcontract performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an admitted corporate surety acceptable to our company (If required). Assistance is available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance or other technical information.

Acceptance of Subcontractor’s bid is expressly conditioned upon Subcontractor’s assent to all terms and conditions contained in the applicable Level 10 Construction standard agreement without modification. These agreements are available for viewing. By submitting a bid, Subcontractor is certifying that it has read the applicable Level 10 Construction standard agreement (either the Subcontract Agreement or Purchase Order Agreement) in full and accepts all terms without modification. Further, by submitting a bid, Subcontractor waives any rights or claims it may have to modify the terms of the Level 10 Construction standard agreement, whether through negotiations, discussions, or other means.
