Kemp Bros. Construction is competitively bidding Orange County Transit Authority Transit Security and Operations Center located at 1460 W. Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, California 92801.

Project Description: New 2-Story, 29,050 sf building on an approximately 3-acre site. Roof mounted microwave tower, (7) parking canopies, EV charging stations, DAS, on and off-site work. The building aims to comply with the Essential Services Buildings Seismic Safety Act. 

Prevailing Wage: Contractor shall be required to pay the prevailing rate of wages in accordance with the Labor Code which such rates can obtained online at http://www.dir.ca.gov.

Wage Rate: (I) CA State Prevailing Wage rates and Certified Payroll apply (II) For trades utilizing carpenters for field installation- Union Wage rate will apply (Kemp Brothers is signatory to Carpenter’s Union Only).

Project Schedule: (910) calendar days, NTP August 2024

Liquidated Damages: $1,200 Per Calendar Day

Deferred Approval Items Fire Department: Fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, elevator recall and two-way communication systems, public fire hydrants and underground fire line, emergency responder radio coverage systems

Deferred Approval Items Building Department: Metal stairs and railings, PV panels and support systems

Build America, Buy America Requirements: All steel and iron, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project are produced in United States, unless a waiver has been granted by FTA or the product is subject to a general waiver.
