Edwards Construction Group is currently pursuing the Santa Maria High School Admin to Classroom project for Santa Maria Joint Union High School District.

THE PROJECT INCLUDES THE ALTERATION AND RENOVATION OF THE EXISTING ADMINISTRATION BUILDING TO A CLASSROOM BUILDING. THE RENOVATED CLASSROOM BUILDING WILL CONSIST OF 9 CLASSROOMS, OFFICES, A STAFF ROOM, AND STUDENT AND STAFF TOILET ROOMS, AND ASSOCIATED SITE WORK. NEW POWER AND DATA WILL BE PROVIDED IN EACH OF THE CLASSROOMS, STAFF ROOM, AND OFFICES FOR THIS BUILDING. ADDITIONALLY, NEW MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING SYSTEMS WILL BE PROVIDED.  THIS WILL INCLUDE NEW HEATING AND COOLING UNITS, AIR REGISTERS, AND NEW DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS IN LIMITED AREAS.  NEW BUILDING PIPING INCLUDING GAS AND WATER, AS WELL AS NEW PLUMBING FIXTURES, WILL BE PROVIDED. NEW ARCHITECTURAL FINISHES WILL BE PROVIDED INCLUDING FLOORING, CARPETING, CEILINGS, WALL COVERING, AND PAINT.

This is a PREVAILING WAGE project.  

We are required to certify that we can either meet the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise ("DVBE") goal of (3%) participation or make a good faith effort to solicit DVBE participation in this Contract.

All MEP Subcontractors are required to be Pre-qualified with the Santa Maria Joint Unified School District.

BID DATE -  Please note that the listed due date and time is the time that all completed paperwork is due at the Bid Location. We request that all bids be sent to us no later than 3 hours before the time the bid is due to be considered.
