Demolition and construction of a new campus for the Mare Island Technology Academy. 

DSA#02-119524- Increment 1:  Demolition of existing buildings and construction of a new campus, including site built Multi-Purpose Room, Administration, Science, Soccer Field, Parking Lot and all associated site work and utilities. 

DSA#02-119524-Increment 2:  Demolition of existing building and construction of a new Gym, Parking Lot and associated site work. 

DSA#02-119524-Increment 3:  Construction of new modular Classroom Buildings.

Construction Schedule:  June 27, 2024-Final Completion:  March 31, 2026

            Sitework and Building Pads:  July – Sept 2024

            Waterline Relocation:  July 2024

            Building Foundations:  Sept-Nov 2024

            Modular Buildings B, C, F, G, H set :  Oct 2024-January 2025

No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.  This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.  

Certificate of Insurance for General Liability, Auto Liability, Excess Liability and Workers' Compensation are required.  A waiver of subrogation will also be required with all subcontract agreements for all those lines of business excess.  Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract with GMH insurance requirements.  All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project may have to furnish subcontract performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an admitted corporate surety acceptable to our company (if required).  

GMH Builders is available and willing to assist breaking down bid items into economically feasible units for minority participation.  We will assist with bonds, lines of credit and insurance if needed.
