is seeking certified and qualified DVBE subcontractors and/or suppliers to provide BIDS FOR THE WASHINGTON MIDDLE SCHOOL TRANSFORMATION – INCREMENT 1 Increment 1 of a comprehensive modernization of Washington Middle School in Long Beach including demolition of all buildings and site structures. Scope of work in this phase of the project includes, but not limited to: abatement of hazardous materials (asbestos, lead, universal waste), demolition (site and building), utility disconnect, salvage and rough grading and soils export. New utility service is NOT part of this bid. This project requires prequalification. Long Beach Unified School District requires all general contractors and all mechanical, electrical and plumbers (MEP) subcontractors utilizing any of the following licenses be prequalified with the District: General Contractors (A and B) and Subcontractors (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46) Long Beach Unified uses QualityBidders (https://www.qualitybidders.com/) to manage prequalification.

No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after, unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5).
