PROJECT DETAILS:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project involves the modernization of the Bonita Vista High School campus. Existing sitework and select buildings will be demolished to make way for a new classroom building and new landscaping and hardscape. In total, there will be over 160,000 SF of site work and 16,445 SF in the new building. As this is an active campus, there are various scheduling requirements for different areas of campus, see exhibit H for more details.
The new building will be a steel framed single story structure with a plaster exterior and PVC roofing. The building contains several specialty classrooms including sports medicine, engineering, photography, a dance studio, and an auto shop. Sitework is extensive, the surrounding walkways and nearby quad will be completely redone. Highlights include decorative concrete paving, planters, and large shade structures for dining tables. Various sidewalks and driveways throughout the campus will also be refreshed and redone.
