Scope-  Work consists of construction of a new 7,100 sqft. Science classroom building. That will include a total of four science classrooms, two life science/biology classrooms, and two lab science/chemistry classrooms.

ALL TRADES REQUIRED.

DVBE-certified entities are encouraged to participate.

Wage Rates-  Bids shall incorporate the prevailing hourly rate of per diem wages for this locality and project as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section(s) 1771, 1775, 1776, 1777.5, 1813, and 1813 a copy of which may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/PWD/ and is hereby made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein. In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1771.1, a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. Any errors, omissions, or conflicts within the plans and or specifications have been addressed by the subcontractor in writing pre-bid. Subcontractors agree to have read and are in accordance with divisions 00 through 01. By the submission of a proposal, subcontractors agree to all provisions contained within the Slater & Son subcontract agreement. Subcontractors may review a copy of the subcontractor agreement during regular business hours or at slaterandson.com. Any Slater & Son listing of a subcontractor pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 4100 et seq. is expressly contingent upon the subcontractor’s acceptance of Slater & Son’s subcontract.   Transmittal of this document to a subcontractor constitutes notification. Upon submission of a proposal, the subcontractor has agreed to all of the terms noted above. Slater & Son Inc. reserves the right to require subcontractors to provide payment & performance bonds when applicable.
