PROJECT DETAILS:
This project includes improvements to a 5,792 sq. ft. single-story community center built in 1985. Exterior work consists of a new roof, siding, repairs/replacement of rafters, piers, and stucco, as well as the addition of three windows and a shed roof at the entry. All exterior doors and windows will be replaced. Interior improvements include a new non-gender accessible restroom, office, a permanent partition between meeting areas, and upgrades to offices, reception areas, restrooms, and the kitchen, along with new finishes. A new HVAC system, water heater, electrical systems, lighting, outlets, and service upgrades will be installed. Accessibility improvements will also be made to parking and pathways.
Partial project funding is provided by a Community Development Block Grant, and all applicable federal requirements apply.
