is seeking certified and qualified DBE subcontractors and/or suppliers to provide Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes on this project from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for any portion of the work, but specifically the following suggested items: Lead Compliance Plan; SWPP plan; Stormwater sampling, analysis & reporting; Noise monitoring; Traffic control; All traffic control devices (incl automated flagger device, barricades, traffic drum, PCMS signs, radar feedback signs, etc); Construction area signs; Roadside signs, including removal items, furnish and installation; Treated wood waste; Erosion control items (incl temporary & permanent, hydraulic mulch, fiber rolls, inlet protection, gravel bag berm, hydroseeding etc); Rock mulch, Rock blanket; All Planting & irrigation items (incl soil amendment & media, fertilizers, compost, incorporate materials, soil testing, wood mulch, root barriers, tree grates, tree protection & guards, tree & pedestrian grates, plant establishment, irrigation controls and assemblies, tree water bags, etc); Bike racks; Benches; Clear & grub; Tree removals; Concrete removals; Salvage items (bench, RR crossing arms); Chain link fence; Shoulder backing machine; Asphalt oil supply/delivery; Data coring; HMA dike; Tack coat; Cold plane/asphalt grinding; Subgrade enhancement geotextile (Cl A2); Retaining wall stem (6A mod); Structural concrete items; Rebar reinforcement; Welded wire reinforcement; Pedestrian barricade, railing and bulbout railing; Guard rail items; Concrete Barrier; Rapid-set concrete patch; Repair spalled surface; Repair bridge deck surface; Treat bridge deck; Concrete coring; Bridge removal; All Pipe & drainage materials; Misc. Iron & steel; Utility adjustments; Water service; Relocate and adjust fire hydrants; Minor concrete items; Prepare & stain concrete; Detectable warning surface; Decorative column; Survey; Bus stop shelter and end screen; All electrical & lighting; Camera systems; Irrigation electrical setup; Striping & marking items, including removals, thermoplastic and painted curb; Water truck; Street sweeper; Hauling of construction materials and Hauling of export from the site. This is a Federally funded project for Caltrans involving State highway improvements to install HMA (Type A), RHMA-G, drainage, landscape, electrical and curb ramps, Monterey County, California.


Engineer’s Estimate: $19,500,000 

 

Contract Time: 350 working days – plus 250 working days for plant establishment
