Abatement and demolition were previously awarded under the Increment 1A bid. Shoring and earthwork are being rebid due to modifications made to the building foundation plans. Scope of work in this phase of the project includes, but not limited to: earthwork, shoring, and site utilities. This project requires prequalification. Long Beach Unified School District requires all general contractors and all mechanical, electrical and plumbers (MEP) subcontractors utilizing any of the following licenses be prequalified with the District: General Contractors (A and B) and Subcontractors (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46) Long Beach Unified uses QualityBidders (https://www.qualitybidders.com/) to manage prequalification.
