is seeking certified and qualified HUD Section 3, SDVOSB, VOSB and WOSB subcontractors and/or suppliers to provide Project Overview Restoring spring-run Chinook salmon to the San Joaquin River. This project implements two of the highest priority projects identified in the 2006 Settlement: fish passage around Sack Dam and a fish screen on the Arroyo Canal to prevent entrainment of juvenile Chinook salmon in the canal. This project is necessary in order to allow salmon to freely move up and down the river to complete their lifecycle (downriver to the ocean and upriver to spawn). The total Contract Time to achieve Final Completion is 1050 calendar days The estimated cost of construction is $100 - $200 Million

Requirements:  Granite is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions.  100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price.  Granite may assist with the bond premium up to 2%.  Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract AgreementA copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
