The Project is generally described as including, but not limited to: Abatement and demolition of existing flooring, chalkboards and tackwall, installation of new flooring, markerboards, tackwall, interior paint throughout area of work (doors, walls, lockers), repair/replacement of a few doors, selected door hardware replacements, acoustic ceiling tile replacement, replacement in kind of toilet room accessories, and refurbishment of classroom countertops, as well as other minor scope. Telecom scope includes design and construction of a new public address headend, new CCTV system, and additional structured cabling to accommodate new wifi access points (WAP) in each classroom, and office areas.

PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT: All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on the Project and all contractors and subcontractors bidding this project will be required to comply with the PLA.

CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE REQUIRED FOR THE WORK: Class B, General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification or Sub-Contractors with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work. Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law.

Prime Contractors shall prequalify through PQ Bids at: https://go.pqbids.com/enroll-us. Applications must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled bid opening and must be approved as least five (5) business days prior to the scheduled bid opening in order to qualify for these projects. Approval is valid for one (1) year from the date of notice of qualification, except as noted in prequalification documents.
