PROJECT DETAILS:

The Project is generally described as: Public Address System Upgrades including associated cabling, integrated clock-bell devices, wall speakers, exterior speakers and head-end equipment at three elementary school campuses. The campuses are:
• Moscone Elementary School - 2576 Harrison St., San Francisco, CA 94110
• Flynn Elementary School - 3125 Cesar Chavez St., San Francisco, CA 94110
• Malcolm X Elementary School - 350 Harbor Rd, San Francisco, CA 94124

PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT: All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on the Project and all contractors and subcontractors bidding this project will be required to comply with the PLA.

CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE REQUIRED FOR THE WORK: Class B, General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work Data cabling, fiber, and low-voltage system work must be performed by C-7 licensed contractor. Conduit and electrical work to be performed by C-10 licensed contractor Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law.

PRE-QUALIFICATION: All Bidders are hereby notified that this Project is subject to the District's Pre-Qualification Procedure. All General Contractors must submit a prequalification package a minimum of ten (10) business days prior to bid date in order to bid on this project. No bids will be received or opened from Bidders who have not been pre-qualified through the District's Pre-Qualification Procedure.
