Edwards Construction Group is currently pursuing the Elmhurst Elementary School HVAC project for the Ventura Unified School District.

SCOPE OF WORK

REMOVE EXISTING HVAC SYSTEMS AND RELATED COMPONENTS AND REPLACE WITH NEW. SCOPE INCLUDES ASSOCIATED STRUCTURAL, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. BLDGS A, B, C, K, AD, MP, CLASSROOM 25 & CLASSROOM 26 - NEW HVAC SYSTEM. ALL EXISTING CLASSROOMS - NEW TEMPERATURE & ALARM SENSOR & PROBE INSTALLED AT SUPPLY PLENUMS AND CONNECT TO (N) OR (E) T-STATS. EXEMPT FROM DSA REVIEW
PROTECT EXISTING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM AND FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM (IF ANY) IN PLACE. NO NEW DEVICES WILL BE ADDED.

This is a PREVAILING WAGE project.  

DVBE Participation Requirements.

The District has determined that regardless of the Bid Proposal Amount, each bidder on this project must be 
prequalified with Ventura Unified School District. In addition, if components of the Project will be performed by electrical, mechanical, or plumbing subcontractors performing under the following license classification(s), then each of those subcontractors that intend to bid as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor (prime contractor) are required to have been prequalified by the District: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46.   In accordance with Public Contract Code section 20111.5, each bidder must: a) submit a Prequalification Application in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders at least ten (10) business days prior to the last date for the submission of Bid Proposals set forth above and be prequalified with Ventura Unified School District for at least five (5) business day prior to that date.  Contractors can 
prequalify at QualityBidders.com. 

 BID DATE -  Please note that the listed due date and time is the time that all completed paperwork is due at the Bid Location. We request that all bids be sent to us no later than 1 hour before the time the bid is due to be considered.
