PROJECT DETAILS:

The Project is generally described as: Public Address System Upgrades including associated cabling, integrated clock-bell devices, wall speakers, exterior speakers and head-end equipment. The campuses are:
• Argonne Elementary School - 680 18th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94121
• Claire Lilienthal Elementary School - 3950 Sacramento St, San Francisco, CA 94118
• Commodore Sloat Elementary School - 50 Darien Way, San Francisco, CA 94127
• Lakeshore Alternative Elementary School - 220 Middlefield Dr, San Francisco, CA 94132

CONTRACTORS LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Contractor's License Classification. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code § 3300, the District requires that Bidders possess the following classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the Bid Proposals are opened: Class B, General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work. Data cabling, fiber, and low-voltage system work must be performed by C-7 licensed contractor. Conduit and electrical work to be performed by C-10 licensed contractor. Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law.

PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT: All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on the Project and all contractors and subcontractors bidding this project will be required to comply with the PLA.
