is seeking certified and qualified DBE, MBE, SBE and WBE subcontractors and/or suppliers to provide FUTURE SCOPES OF WORK: SWPPP, Survey, Aggregates, Demolition, Dewatering, Shoring, Precast Manholes, Paving, Curbs & Gutter, Rebar, Masonry, Metals, FRP, Roofing, Doors, Glazing, Coatings, Process Equipment, Pipe, Valves, Pipe Supports, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical and Instrumentation. PROJECT OVERVIEW: The new AWPF will take the VWRF's tertiary MBR/UV wastewater effluent and provide additional treatment with RO and UV AOP with sodium hypochlorite as the oxidant, followed by stabilization to produce a purified water suitable for injection into the groundwater basin. Free chlorination will be added to the finished water pumpstation/chlorine contact basin for additional virus credits and to prevent biofouling in the pipeline to the injection wells. The AWPF product water will be injected into the groundwater basin. The new AWPF will also include support facilities for the treatment system including chemical buildings, an electrical building, a new administration/operations and laboratory building, a maintenance building and shop, as well as a process building. As currently envisioned, the AWPF will initially treat up to 4 mgd of VWRF tertiary wastewater effluent, yielding an assumed 3.2 mgd of product water for potable reuse. In anticipation of future expansion of the AWPF, the related infrastructure and tankage shall be initially sized for 6 mgd of VWRF tertiary wastewater effluent with 4.8 mgd of product water.
