PROJECT DETAILS:

The WORK includes a two-inch asphalt concrete(AC) overlay of approximately 20,000 SY of pavement. This includes all of parallel Taxiway A and connector taxiways between Runway 11-29 and the aircraft parking apron. Due to funding constraints, the scope of work will be divided into Base Bid and Bid Alternate portions as delineated on the plans. Elements of work for both Base Bid and Bid Alternate of this Project include the following: Repairs along edges and at isolated locations. Repairs at isolated locations consists of removal of AC, and construction of new AC. Repairs along pavement edges consists of the isolated repair with the addition of subgrade cement treatment to a depth of thirty inches. Two-inch AC mill and overlay on twenty-five-foot-wide keel section of Taxiway A and connector taxiways between Runway 11-29 and the aircraft apron. Pavement edge cracking mitigation, involving subgrade cement treatment to a depth of thirty inches and placement of recycled base at the shoulders. Remove and replace taxiway edge reflectors due to crack mitigation. Reapplying pavement markings.

The DBE Contract goal is 5.48 percent
