PROJECT DETAILS:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Relocate the Joseph Widmer Elementary School and Veritas Elementary School - Portables, Manteca Unified School District located in Manteca, CA. Work includes:
1. Relocate (4) portables currently located at Lathrop Annex school site,
2. Install (2 each) portables at each of the sites as shown on the site plans.
3. Reconfigure chain link fencing at portable location, including removing and reinstalling chain link gates. Install chain link fencing and (1) access gate at ends of portables,
4. Connect portables to school site electrical at Multipurpose Building (Bldg. C) in new electrical trenches,
5. Connect portables to school site data, Clock/Bell/Paging and Fire Alarm,
6. Install Drywells at condensate lines at portables,
7. Install PC ramps at each portable,
8. Install closure panel between portables,
9. Reconfigure diagonal accessible parking stalls across from Admin Building (Bldg. B), restripe and install signage,
10. Repair roofing to make watertight,
11. Repair gutters and downspouts,
12. Replace electrical panel at Portable K01 (pertains to Veritas Elementary School only),
13. Other work as shown in the documents and as required for a complete and operational project.
Construction Dates: 05/30/22 – 07/29/22

DIR Registration requirements for all Public Works projects (SB854). The requirement to only use registered contractors and subcontractors on public works projects applies to all projects awarded on or after April 1, 2015.
a. All sub-tier subcontractors must be DIR registered contractors at all times during performance of the Work; and
b. Prospective subcontractors may only solicit sub-bids from and contract with lower-tier subcontractors who are DIR registered contractors.
All work performed on this project which falls under the recognized jurisdiction of the Carpenter’s Master Agreement for Northern California shall be performed by Union Carpenters.
