General Work Description:  Demolition of covered walkways and roofing to voluntarily seismically separate three existing classroom wings, with relocation of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing utilities are required.  Partial re-roofing and roof framing as required.

No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.  This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.  No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. *This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.

Certificate of Insurance for General Liability, Auto Liability, Excess Liability and Workers' Compensation are required.  A waiver of subrogation will also be required with all subcontract agreements for all those lines of business excess.  Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract with GMH insurance requirements.  All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project may have to furnish subcontract performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an admitted corporate surety acceptable to our company (if required).  

Project is Subject to Prevailing Wage Requirements and all subcontractors submitting a proposal must have valid DIR #
