is seeking certified and qualified DVBE subcontractors and/or suppliers to provide This project is to Demolish the (E) Gymnasium Building and Site Elements then to Construct New Building G (Gymnasium), 26,258 SQFT and Site Works, Type II-B, Group A4 & E, Fully Sprinklered. The Scope of Works includes but not limited to Demolition, Site Remediation, Site Clearing & Earthworks, Concrete Slab on Grade with Continuous Footing, Steel Structural Framing, Metal Stud Wall Framing with Gypsum Board & Cement Plastering, Bituminous Membrane & Metal Deck Roof, Gymnasium Equipment, Telescoping Seating, Building Utilities Services e.g. Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Fire Sprinkler, Electrical, Telecommunication & Security Systems and associated Site Works, e.g. Site Utilities, Concrete Hardscape, Planting & Irrigation. All Contractors ( of any tier) performing any portion of the Work must comply with the Labor Code Section 1715.5 and 1771.1 and currently registered with California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and qualified to perform publics pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 throughout the duration of the project.. 2. Any works that will be performed by MEP Sub-Contractors that hold C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 and C-46 licenses, must be prequalified by the District and will be placed on the District's List of Prequalified MEP Subcontractors at least Five(5) business days prior to the Bid Opening date. 3. Pursuant to Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998, Bidders must comply with the Capistrano Unified School District policy for participation of Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE).
