CORE Construction along with the City of Woodland requests proposals from licensed pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) subcontractors for the following Progressive Design Build project:

Description of Work and Cost

The Woodland Fire Station 4 project includes the construction of living quarters and three apparatus bays. This request for proposal is specifically for the PEMB system. Proposers shall provide two separate costs: one for design-assist services and one for the complete furnishing and installation of the PEMB system and all associated materials.

Cost 1 to be inclusive of –

Coordination with Design Team

Coordination with Trade Partners

BIM modeling LOD 400 (confirm software compatibility with Revit)

Shop Drawing/Plan development for Local Building Department Approval

Design Development (DD) participation from 9/1/26 to 11/24/26

Construction Documents (CD) design participation from 11/30/26 to 3/5/27

Target Permit submission on 3/5/27

Cost 2 to be inclusive of –

Primary and Secondary Structural Steel Framing

Metal Roof Panel System

PBR paneling

Roof and Wall Insulation System

Framed openings per floor plan

Delivery and Unloading

Erection (Skilled and Trained Workforce Compliance)

Additional Information Required – 

Provide five relevant past projects, including fire station projects with PEMB systems and local projects.
