Scope- The project consists of the interior and exterior modernization and build out of an existing metal-framed structure for use as the offices of the transit administration staff and bus storage. Service improvements include upgrades to ADA access to the facility. Site work includes concrete, paving, installation of solar arrays, cameras, striping, landscaping and improvements. BOTH ADDRESSES HAVE WORK TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BASE BID.

ALL TRADES REQUIRED.

Wage Rates-  Bids shall incorporate the prevailing hourly rate of per diem wages for this locality and project as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section(s) 1771, 1775, 1776, 1777.5, 1813, and 1813 a copy of which may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/PWD/ and is hereby made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein. When you get to this website, select “Prevailing Wage Determinations”.

In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1771.1, a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. It is not a violation of this section for an unregistered contractor to submit a bid that is authorized by Section 7029.1 of the Business and Professions Code or by Section 10164 or 20103.5 of the Public Contract Code, provided the contractor is registered to perform public work pursuant to Section

1725.5 at the time the contract is awarded.

By the submission of a proposal, subcontractors agree to all provisions contained within the Slater & Son subcontract agreement. Subcontractors may review a copy of the subcontractor agreement during regular business hours. Any Slater & Son listing of a subcontractor pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 4100 et seq. is expressly contingent upon the subcontractor’s acceptance of Slater & Son’s subcontract.  Transmittal of this document to a subcontractor constitutes notification. Upon submission of a proposal, the subcontractor has agreed to all of the terms noted above. Slater & Son Inc. reserves the right to require subcontractors to provide payment & performance bonds when applicable.
