This project is a failed project and has been taken over by the bonding company.  The work of the project is to Construct a new Softball Field, Hitting Cage, Bullpen, Home / Visitor Dugouts, Restroom/ Storage Building, 1073 SQFT, Type VB, Group S-1, Non Sprinklered and associated Site Works & Utilities at San Bernardino Valley College Campus

 SPECIFIC PROJECT INFORMATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

 1.  Wages rate for this project shall be in accordance with Section 1720 et seq., the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, the Prevailing rates of wages of holiday and over time work in the locality in which the work is to be performed.  2.  During the work the Department of Industrial Relations shall monitor & enforced compliance with prevailing wage rate requirements and obligations.  3.  No Sub-Contractor will be awarded a Contract for Public Works, unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) of the State of California, pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5.  4.  Community Benefit Agreement (CBA) , the agreement between the District and Building trades /signatory Unions is required on this project.  5.  The District adopt a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) participation goal of the Bid proposal.   6.  The District is committed to a sustainable design as defined by the US Green Building Council's as LEED Rating System.  7   A request for Substitution for any specific article, device, equipment, product ,material, fixtures may be submitted during bidding or after award (21 Calendar Days) of the contract., but shall be accompanied by a Substitution Request Form. as described on Section 01 25 00.  9  Any work performed necessary to be done within regular working hours, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday.
